Mr. Warren (Wah-Keith), son of Joseph Montgomery Sr., and Louise Holmes Montgomery was born January 14, 1957, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
He united and worshiped with Breeding Tabernacle C.M.E. Church.
He attended Indianapolis public schools graduating from George Washington High School.
Warren (Wah-Keith) worked for Electric Steel for many years then became self-employed until he was unable to continue. He worked with his friend Mr. Bill Cole for a while restoring homes.
Warren (Wah-Keith) had fun hanging out with his family, friends, and buddies. He also loved to watch a lot of T.V. Shows like Andy Griffith, Westerns, Forrest Grump, Good Times, Wild Kingdom, Billy Graham and many more. Loved to cut grass and shovel snow until he wasn’t able too. Loved to help people in the neighborhood. One of his daily passions was to feed the birds 3 times a day. Throwing bits of breadcrumbs out to them as they flock to receive it. We would tease him by telling him your family (Birds) are ready to eat. Wah-Keith also loved to fix things. Put things together. Never reading any instructions. Just looked at it and it was done. He was very gifted in that area.
Mr. Warren Montgomery departed this earthly life on November 8, 2023. He was one of a kind. In a class all by himself. He’s truly missed. There will never be another like him. He was preceded in death by his mother Louise Holmes Montgomery. 3 brothers; Ralph Holmes, Freeman Montgomery-Bibbs, and Larry Montgomery. Sister, Karen Montgomery-Souleye. Father, Joseph Montgomery Sr.
Mr. Warren Montgomery leaves to cherish his memory: his sisters, Silvan Montgomery, Gloriann Montgomery, and Sharon Montgomery Osuntuyi (Victor) all of Indianapolis. Brothers; Steven Montgomery (Cathy) and Joseph Montgomery Jr. (Rev. Mary Montgomery) all of Indianapolis. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
God looked around His garden and He found an empty place. He then looked down upon this earth and saw your tired face. He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest. God’s garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering, He knew you were in pain. He knew that you would never get well on earth again. He saw that the road was getting rough, and the hills were hard to climb. So, God closed your weary eyelids and whispered, “Peace be thine.” It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn’t go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
Leaving you with Wah-Keith favorite saying: “IT’S ALL GOOD”.
