Eddie Joe Clark was born August  17, 1955 to the joy and delight of parents Louis Clark Strong and Willie Avin Lofton in Houston, Mississippi.  He received his primary school education in the Houston and West Point, MS school systems. He attended Arsenal Tech High School in Indianapolis, IN.

Eddie accepted Christ at an early age and was attendance with family at Upper Prairie Creek Church.

Eddie was a long-time employee of Quaker Oats, retiree of Kroger Crossroads Dairy Farms and Saran Industries in Indianapolis, IN.

Eddie was joined in loving matrimony with Yvonne Brown-Clark on December 9, 1990. He and Yvonne celebrated 33 years of marriage.

Eddie was a music enthusiast. He favorite genres of music including listening to blues, rhythm and blues, soul, and hip and hop. Some of his favorite artists including Johnny Guitar Watson, The Average White Band, Michael Jackson, Too Short, and so many others!

Eddie loved outdoors hobbies and chores. He loved  working outside and repairing things. He loved his brand new Ford 150’s, Expeditions, and Cadillac Escalades!

Eddie will be missed by all his family and every single memory and laugh will be cherished for all lifetime.

Eddie Joe Clark departed this earthly place and gained his angel wings on January 4, 2023 at the age of 68 year old, surrounded by close family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louise Strong and Wille Avin Lofton, sister Cynthia Gray, brothers Randy O. Clark and Robert E.  Clark, stepfather Jesse Strong Jr, and nephew Randy Clark Jr.

Left to cherish his legacy, tremendous love, and laughter are his wife Yvonne, his children Quantreece ”Lady” Kimbrough,  Cherie E. Clark , Christopher Clark , Nina G. (Coleman Jr) Anderson , and Katrelenia C. Brown- Clark; brother, Michael K. Clark , sisters Tracy L. Strong , Tammy S. Strong; 12 grandchildren ,  7 great- grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended relatives and friends
